The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) is seeking Part-Time Clinic Faculty to lead clinic shifts at the CCNM Boucher Naturopathic Clinic.
The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have an ability and interest in clinical education. The Clinic faculty provide primary naturopathic medical care to patients and supervise naturopathic medical students during their clinical training.
Reporting to the Associate Dean, Clinical Education, the incumbent teaches and evaluates students on clinical competencies outlined in the SNC clinical curriculum, as well as advises, assesses, and examines student performance on an ongoing basis. Although this position is intended to provide coverage shifts as needed, part-time faculty become part of the College community and contribute immensely to the clinical training experience.
Available: September 2026 to April 2027
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years’ clinical experience as a licensed naturopathic doctor or a two-year residency completed at an accredited naturopathic institution
- Teaching experience in a clinic setting is an asset
- Registered as an ND, licensed in the Province of British Columbia
- In good standing with the College of Complementary Health Professions of British Columbia (CCHPBC) and with any other professional regulatory body with which you are a member of.
- Meets the College of Naturopaths of British Columbia Prescribing Standard of Practice
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Proven organization skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to motivate and engage students
The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), established in 1978, is Canada's premier, pan-Canadian academic institution for education and research in naturopathic medicine. CCNM has two campuses, one in Toronto and another in the Metro Vancouver area known as the Boucher Campus. Its graduates are eligible to write the licensing examinations for all regulated jurisdictions in Canada and the United States to become naturopathic doctors. Compensation
Please note that the base rate for this position is $56.65 per hour .
