Financial Controller

Are you in accounting and looking to move to a role with more impact, responsibilities, and visibility?

We are currently recruiting a financial controller for a well-established manufacturing company in growth in Centre-du-Québec.

Reporting to the financial director, you will play a key role in managing accounting operations, financial analysis, and supervising a small team.

Main Responsibilities

- Take charge of the month-end process (entries, provisions, reconciliations)
- Ensure the reliability and integrity of financial data
- Participate in the implementation of an ERP
- Analyze results and explain variances
- Participate in budget preparation and KPI tracking
- Supervise and support a small team
- Collaborate with management to improve processes and tools
- Participate in audits and year-end closings
- Manage certain tax obligations (GST/QST, DAS)

Desired Profile

- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Positive mastery of Excel




- Understanding of the complete accounting cycle
- Analytical mindset and rigor
- Autonomy and sense of responsibility

Assets

- Experience in supervision
- Knowledge of Power Query or Power BI
