We are seeking a energetic and results-driven Procurement Sales professional to join our team and drive growth through strategic sourcing and vendor management. This is a fully commissioned sales role. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in procurement processes, proposal writing and sales to build strong relationships with suppliers and clients. Your energetic approach will help optimize purchasing strategies, negotiate favorable contracts, and ensure seamless integration with financial teams. Duties
- Develop and execute proposal strategies to identify and secure reliable government contracts.
- Manage relationships through effective communication, performance monitoring, and negotiation to maximize value
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and align activities accordingly
- Utilize systems such as Biddingo, BC Bids & Tenders, to process proposals, track and manage procurement availability
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with government entities to achieve optimal outcomes
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, new suppliers, and innovative sourcing options
Experience
- Proven experience in procurement proposals or sales within manufacturing or supply chain environments
- Demonstrated ability in management, negotiation, and strategic sourcing
- Knowledge of purchasing processes, pricing strategies, and creating proposals
- Experience working with cross-functional audit teams to streamline audit workflows
- Excellent communication skills and audit history
Pay: $50,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
