We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee afternoon shift operations at our food manufacturing facility. This role requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. Recognition & wellness programs for employees. Key activities Production Operations & Quality Control Oversee the production team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety, quality, and regulatory standards while achieving all KPIs.

Ensure production schedules are met, making real-time adjustments as needed.

Monitor production output and identify opportunities for improvement.

Conduct regular audits.

Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Logistics teams to resolve issues affecting production performance. Safety & Compliance Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing safe work practices and conducting regular safety talks and inspections.

Ensure employees complete required training, hazard assessments, and job-specific training.

Maintain a clean and sanitary production environment in compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations.

People

Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and support employees to build a high-performing production team.

Address and resolve employee concerns professionally and in accordance with company policies.

Ensure fair and consistent application of workplace policies, working closely with HR when necessary.

Facilitate shift handovers, providing clear communication of ongoing production issues, priorities, and expectations.

Identify training and development opportunities for employees.

Continuous





Improvement & Problem-Solving Proactively identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.

Participate in cross-functional meetings and initiatives aimed at improving plant operations and employee engagement.

Monitor non-inventory supplies and ensure adequate stock for production needs.

Required Training And

Experience 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (food/beverage preferred).

Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook);

experience with Kronos of BPCS is an asset.

Degree of diploma in a related field (science, engineering, operations management) or equivalent experience.

Deep knowledge of lean concepts and experience of execution.

Knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and OH&S; standards is preferred.

Skills sought Fluent in both spoken and written English.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong leadership and people management skills to motivate, train, and engage employees.

Excellent RCA, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ability to analyze production data and drive continuous improvement.

Strong organizational and time management skills to balance competing priorities effectively.

Ability to quickly learn mixing room operations and production equipment to support the team.
