The Role:

As a member of the production team the Shipping Production Support role will provide support for Shipping and receiving as well as Production. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement and storage of the product in the warehouse. This role will participate in keeping the warehouse clean and organized.

You will provides support to the organization by shipping orders using the Purolator and Canada Post systems, pick and palletizes products for freight shipments, and perform functions stated by department policy. This role will be responsible for processing incoming shipments and pulling printed orders to be shipped as well moving product from stocking locations to shipping locations for processing.

Finishing:

- Photo Laminator Operating and maintaining* Laminating digital prints from our digital press.




- Hot Laminating Operating and maintaining* hot laminator, laminating digital prints from our digital press
- Die Cutting Operating and maintaining* the punch card pro die cutting machine punching out laminated cards keeping them in stack order for distribution. Operating and maintaining the Rotec die cutter, to cut Fun Packs and other products.
- Cutting Operating and maintaining the Tecnau and Challenge automatic and stack cutters.
- Booklet Making Operating and maintaining the Borg and Duplo Booklet Makers.
- Key tags and Magnets Printing key tags and magnets
- Foil Stamping Using foil stamping machines to transfer foil to products such as photo mounts and vinyl folders.

Packaging:

- Manual Packaging Involves
1. Placing photos in envelopes or folders.
2. Sorting and bundling products such as bookmarks and proofs for distribution
3. Boxing orders with proper documentation.
4. Shipping completed orders to clients using our integrated tracking system.

- Processing Mail Sealing prepared orders to go to Canada post and processing manifests or the shipment.
- Mounting and Laminating Operating and maintaining a Seal Ultra 44 Laminator mainly used as a cold mount system for coating foam board and mounting inkjet prints to coated boards.
- Framing Assembly of precut metal andor wood frames and plexi glass
- Packaging Machine Follow the information on the job ticket package the product according to requirements and procedures learnt in training for Packages or Groups.

Shipping/Receiving:





- Assist with monthly and annual inventory; monitor stock levels on a regular basis
- Prepare proper and safe packaging of customer’s goods to be shipped
- Inspect and count items that are received, ensuring accuracy
- Perform various duties as assigned within a warehouse workplace
- Maintain a safe work environment at all times based on company policy
- Providing support where needed. From material handling to shipping and receiving
- Receive supplies; accept stock orders and deliver supplies to various departments
- Prepare orders for shipment to offsite locations
- Ensure shipping waybills are completed correctly

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Good decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A team player with the ability to work independently.
- Understanding of system workflow requirements.
- Ability to lift 35 - 40lbs on a regular basis.
- Reach Truck experience a Plus.
- Must be able to stand for long periods regularly

Hours of Work:

- Monday to Friday, 8-4:30 P.M.
