Job Summary

Hinspergers Poly Industries is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our production team as General Factory Labourers.

This role is essential to the manufacturing process. You will work alongside our Industrial Sewing Machine Operators, assisting with the handling, movement, measuring, folding, and packaging of large swimming pool safety covers, industrial tarps, and other custom products.

Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, take pride in producing quality work, and understand the importance of teamwork, safety, and reliability.

No manufacturing experience is required—we are willing to train the right candidate. Applicants with manufacturing, warehouse, forklift, construction, shipping/receiving, or other hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support

- Assist Industrial Sewing Machine Operators by pulling and guiding large materials through industrial sewing machines.
- Fold and package completed products according to company quality standards.
- Measure finished products to ensure accuracy.
- Transport materials and finished products throughout the production area.
- Prepare products for shipment, including loading and stretch wrapping skids.
- Keep production areas organized to ensure efficient workflow.

General Labour

- Clean work areas and remove scrap materials and waste.
- Handle fabric rolls, cardboard, finished products, and production materials safely.
- Assist with moving equipment and materials as required.
- Report equipment problems or unsafe conditions to management.
- Perform other general labour duties as assigned.

Safety & Teamwork

- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Work safely and help maintain a clean, organized workplace.




- Treat co-workers with professionalism and respect.
- Follow all Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Preferred

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping/receiving, construction, landscaping, or other physically demanding work is considered an asset.

Skills & Abilities

- Physically capable of standing for extended periods.
- Able to regularly lift up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable working with large products and materials.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Reliable, dependable, and safety-conscious.
- Willingness to learn new skills and assist wherever needed.
- Experience operating power tools or industrial equipment is an asset.

Working Conditions

Travel: None

Environment: 100% Manufacturing Facility

Physical Demands:

- Standing and walking throughout the shift.
- Regular lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Frequent bending, reaching, pulling, and carrying materials.
- Working with large fabric products as part of a team.

Overtime:

Availability to work mandatory overtime during our busy season (mid-August through the end of November).

Compensation

Competitive wages based on experience.

Relevant manufacturing, warehouse, forklift, skilled trade, or other transferable experience may qualify for a higher starting wage.

Job Type

This is a seasonal position with the opportunity to transition into a permanent full time role. Full-time opportunities are based on individual performance, reliability, attendance, overall fit with our team, and business needs.
