Overview

Natur+L XTD is a food plant specializing in the High Pressure Process (HPP) of prepacked food in order to give them a longer shelf life without chemicals. We are expanding into the Ontario market and are looking for employees to work in our Hamilton plant.SIGNIFICANT: Must ABSOLUTELY be residing in Canada and be a Canadian citizen OR have a valid work permit. Candidates living outside of Canada will not be considered.Schedule: 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Salary : Starting at $21.95/hr (Base hourly rate of $18.95 + an attendance bonus of $3.00/hr)

Responsibilities

- Fill baskets with packaged food products
- After the HPP treatment, empty the baskets and place the food products on a conveyor belt
- Put products in boxes
- Palletize the boxed product and store in cold warehouse
- Use of an ERP system to manage the inventory of products to be treated and products ready for shipping.

Desired Experience or Qualifications :

- High school diploma or equivalent (Work experience will also be considered)
- Experience in a food manufacturing plant (is a bonus)
- Comfortable using a computer
- Good physical health as this work requires standing, bending, lifting very light loads
- Ability to work in a team
- Experience driving a forklift is an asset




- Languages: Speaking and writing in English, French is an asset
- A "can do" attitude and having initiative as this is a growing company with many future opportunities for advancement to roles such as Team Lead and Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
