We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Production Worker to join our production team. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced meat processing plant. The position assists with a variety of production, packaging, and housekeeping duties to help ensure our customer orders are prepared accurately, safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Making and assembling boxes for production and customer orders
- Assisting with meat processing and general production duties
- Packaging meat products according to specifications
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Completing general housekeeping and sanitation duties
- Following food safety, workplace safety and company policies and procedures
- Assisting other production team members as required.

Qualifications

- Dependable, punctual and ready to work
- Available to start at 5:00 am
- Works well as part of a team




- Can follow instructions and established procedures
- Can work quickly and accurately
- Takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
- Is willing to learn and assist wherever needed.
- Previous experience in food processing is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Requirements

- Regularly stand and walk for extended periods
- Reach, bend and stoop throughout the shift
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Perform repetitive tasks safely and efficiently
- Work in a refrigerated environment.
