The Production Worker supports the day-to-day operation of ZipGrow’s warehouse and production activities. This entry-level position is responsible for picking and packing customer orders, organizing inventory, assisting with product assembly,assisting with all aspects of the unit construction, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

The successful candidate will be dependable, organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable completing a variety of physical and hands-on tasks.

Responsibilities:

Order Picking and Packing

- Accurately pick products and components according to customer orders and packing lists.

Inventory and Warehouse Organization

- Receive, sort, label, and store incoming products and materials.
- Maintain organized inventory locations and return items to their designated storage areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Help monitor stock levels and identify items that require replenishment.
- Follow inventory procedures to support accurate recordkeeping.
- Safely move products and materials throughout the warehouse.

Assembly and Production Support

- Assist with the assembly and preparation of ZipGrow products, systems, and components. Participate in the construction aspect of the units.
- Follow assembly instructions, work orders, drawings, and supervisor directions.
- Use basic hand tools and equipment safely and correctly.
- Inspect completed work for visible defects, missing components, or quality concerns.
- Prepare components and materials for production and installation projects.
- Support other warehouse and production activities as assigned.





Warehouse Cleanliness and Safety

- Keep workstations, aisles, storage areas, and shared spaces clean and organized.
- Remove waste, packaging, and debris from work areas.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
- Properly store tools, equipment, and materials after use.
- Report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or workplace hazards promptly.
- Wear required personal protective equipment.
- Package products securely to help prevent damage during shipping.
- Verify quantities, product numbers, and order details before shipment.
- Prepare labels, boxes, pallets, and other shipping materials as required.
- Report missing, damaged, or incorrect inventory to the appropriate supervisor.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely lift up to [50 pounds / insert required weight].
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving hands, arms, and basic tools.
- Ability to work in a warehouse and light manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

- Demonstrate proven experience in construction or assembly within a similar role.
- Possess a strong grasp of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
- Capable of operating various construction equipment and power tools.
- Exhibit excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Pay attention to detail and uphold a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Maintain a pleasant, cooperative attitude towards colleagues, displaying respect, courtesy, and politeness.
- Adapt to changes and embrace variety in the workplace, able to switch tasks or priorities quickly.
- Hold a valid driver's license and possess reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full time Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
