What can you expect from this position? Reporting to the Manager, Organizational Learning, the Program Manager, Organizational Learning is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging learning experiences that enhance employee capability and support organizational performance across Toronto Pearson. You will play a key role in advancing leadership development, onboarding, professional development, and enterprise-wide learning initiatives through a blend of instructor-led, virtual, and eLearning programs. Working closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, vendors, and HR partners,
you will manage learning projects from concept to implementation, ensuring learning solutions are innovative, impactful, and aligned with organizational priorities.
You will also help shape the employee learning experience by leveraging adult learning best practices, emerging technologies, AI tools, and continuous improvement strategies to build a culture of learning and development.
As a Program Manager, Organizational Learning, you will:
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging learning programs for leaders and employees across both unionized and non-unionized environments.
- Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning experiences that drive employee development and organizational effectiveness.
- Partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to identify learning needs and create effective learning solutions.
- Lead the design, development, implementation, communication plans and evaluation of learning and development programs, ensuring content remains current, compelling, impactful and sustainable.
- Develop and maintain eLearning content using up-to-date instructional design methodologies and learning technologies.
- Curate and recommend learning resources that address capability gaps and support employee growth and development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop communication, implementation, and adoption strategies for enterprise learning initiatives.
- Monitor program effectiveness and leverage feedback,
evaluation data, and industry best practices to continuously improve learning offerings.
- Manage relationships with external learning providers and vendors, supporting sourcing, contracting, budget tracking, and program delivery activities.
- Serve as a trusted learning advisor, providing guidance, coaching, and expertise to stakeholders across the organization.
This is the role for you, if you have:
- 2+ years of experience facilitating learning programs in a corporate or organizational setting.
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience in instructional design and adult learning methodologies.
- Experience designing and developing eLearning content using Articulate Storyline or similar learning technologies.
- Experience implementing and supporting enterprise-wide learning and development programs.
- Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) to administer and manage learning initiatives.
- Robust understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies, including ADDIE.
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, experience with Excel, and confidence leveraging technology to deliver engaging learning experiences.
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Transportation Security Clearance.
