Young Innovators Robotics Lab delivers hands-on STEM programming — robotics, coding, 3D printing, and AI — to youth aged 7–14 across the Lower Mainland through classes, camps, and competitions including Battle Bots.

About the Role

We're hiring a Program Manager to supervise our Camp/Program Instructors and lead curriculum design across our Fraser Valley sites. You'll be the direct point of oversight for instructors — monitoring their teaching quality, providing feedback and coaching, and stepping in on performance issues — while also coordinating schedules across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

- Directly supervise Camp/Program Instructors: monitor classroom delivery, provide coaching and feedback, and address performance concerns
- Onboard and train new instructors on curriculum, safety expectations, and site logistics
- Create instructional materials and hands-on activities; prototype and test projects for safety and engagement
- Prepare teaching schedules, lesson outlines, and resource lists for instructors




- Support logistical planning for camp activities across Langley, Abbotsford, Mission, and Delta
- Track attendance, student feedback, and program progress
- Prepare reports and recommendations for stakeholders and partners

Qualifications

- Prior experience supervising or managing a team — camp, classroom, or retail/hospitality leadership all count
- Background or strong interest in STEM education, curriculum design, or program coordination
- Comfortable having direct, professional conversations about performance
- Comfortable managing logistics across multiple sites
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation (travel between sites required)
- Familiarity with robotics/coding tools (VEX IQ, Scratch, Micro:bit, TinkerCAD) an asset, not required
