Our client, in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Director of finance, responsible for overseeing the finance and operations of the organization. This role partners closely with executive leadership to drive performance, ensure financial discipline, and support long-term growth through robust planning, analysis, and controls. Key Responsibilities Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting under IFRS (management & statutory) Maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures Lead audit processes and liaise with external auditors and advisors Operational Finance Monitor cash flow, working capital,



and financial performance KPIs Analyze variances and provide explicit explanations and recommendations Optimize cost structures and improve financial efficiency Support system implementations and process improvements Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team Establish clear roles, workflows, and performance expectations Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Qualifications & Experience 7+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting Proven experience in a leadership role (Controller, Senior Manager, Director) Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and controls Experience working closely with senior leadership or ownership Background in a public company and in the manufacturing industry #J-18808-Ljbffr
