Hours: 37 hours per week

Start Date: As soon as possible

Major Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret plans, illustrations and sketches to determine specifications and needs.
- Prepare formats in conformance to building regulations; use gauging tools.
- Cut, shape, construct and join materials made of wood, timber alternatives, lightweight steel and other products.
- Build structures; set up flooring light beams; lay subflooring; install walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
- Maintain,



repair and refurbish residences and wooden frameworks in mills, mines, hospitals, plants and other establishments.

Qualifications:

- Language: English
- Education: No formal level, certification or diploma required
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
- Tools/Equipment: Own steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles
- Transportation/Travel: Own transportation; willing to travel and able to go on trips
- Physical/Job Capacities: Able to work with large workloads; bending, crouching, stooping; standing and walking; occasional lifting; overtime; able to manage heavy loads
