Project Manager (Oracle Financial Transformation)

6 months with possible extension or conversion

Toronto, ON - Hybrid 2 days onsite.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

- 8+ years of experience in Project Management with at least 5 years leading Finance Transformation initiatives.
- Robust background in Financial Accounting (GL, AP, AR, FA) and Cost Accounting (Cost Center, Cost Allocation, Activity-Based Costing, Standard Cost).
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Finance Cloud / Oracle E-Business Suite Financials is mandatory.
- Experience in requirements elicitation, business process modeling, and gap analysis.
- Strong understanding of ERP implementations, integration, data migration, and reporting.
- PMP certification (or equivalent) is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

- Financial Accounting: GL, AP, AR, FA, Period Close, Reconciliation, Consolidations.
- Cost Accounting: Cost Center Accounting, Cost Allocation, Activity-Based Costing, Standard Costing, Variance Analysis.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgets, forecasting,



and profitability analysis.

TOOLS & TECHNOLOGIES

- Oracle Finance Cloud / Oracle E-Business Suite (mandatory)
- Oracle FCCS / EPM (advantageous)
- Excel (Advanced), SQL (basic knowledge advantageous)
- Jira, Confluence, MS Project / other PM tools

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT Proven ability to collaborate and manage expectations with a wide range of stakeholders, including:

- CFO and Finance Leadership
- Costing Team
- Finance Teams (Accounting, Reporting, Planning & Analysis)
- External Consultants / System Integrators
- Risk & Compliance
- Third Party Vendors
- Corporate Costing Department (CCD)

METHODOLOGY

- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Skilled in conducting workshops, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Strong focus on continuous improvement and change enablement.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile Certification is preferred.
- Oracle Cloud / Oracle ERP certifications are an advantage.
