Raise is currently hiring a Project Manager - Privacy Foundation & AI Governance on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is a major Canadian airline. Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.

Description The Project Manager in this role will lead the planning and delivery of critical privacy foundation initiatives within our Protect work stream. Working closely with the Chief Privacy Officer, Privacy Business Analysts, external consultants, and key business stakeholders, you will coordinate a portfolio of foundational privacy initiatives.

Your scope will include establishing ’s privacy operating model and accountability framework, operationalizing the privacy team, reviewing core policies, implementing incident escalation processes, running consent management RFPs, and building enterprise synthetic data capabilities to safely enable scalable AI adoption and data analytics.

Responsibilities

- Privacy Foundation & Governance: Lead the establishment of the organizaions privacy office, operating model, and accountability framework to strengthen governance, mitigate risk, and improve regulatory compliance.
- Operationalization: Coordinate the establishment of the operational privacy team, the review and communication of core privacy policies, and the implementation of robust privacy incident escalation processes.
- Technology & RFP Execution: Drive vendor evaluation, requirements definition, RFP processes, and contract selection activities for enterprise Consent Management tools and privacy-enhancing technologies.
- Privacy-Protected Data & AI Support: Establish enterprise synthetic data capabilities, governance frameworks,



and standards that reduce privacy risk while enabling scalable testing, development, analytics, and AI adoption.
- Project Management & Portfolio Execution: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, roadmaps, business cases, implementation strategies, and executive governance reporting. Manage multiple workstreams, vendors, and cross-functional dependencies simultaneously.
- Change Management: Lead organizational change management and implementation planning to ensure smooth adoption of new privacy processes and frameworks.

Qualifications

- 7+ years of project or program management experience leading complex, enterprise-level initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience delivering privacy, compliance, governance, risk management, data governance, or regulatory transformation programs.
- Experience establishing organizational operating models, governance frameworks, and core corporate policies.
- Experience working directly with executive stakeholders, leadership teams, and governance committees.
- Nice-to-Have Experience:
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, PIPEDA, privacy compliance, or data protection initiatives.
- Familiarity with Consent Management Platforms (CMP), Privacy Management Platforms (PMP), or Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs) like synthetic data.
- Industry experience within airlines, travel, financial services, or other highly regulated enterprise environments.
- Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong project and program management experience delivering governance, compliance, risk, data, or privacy-related initiatives.
- Proven track record of leading complex projects involving legal, technology, information security, data, compliance, and business stakeholders.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, facilitation, and executive communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels.




- Experience managing software or platform selection initiatives, including RFP development and vendor evaluation.
- Proficient in Agile project management frameworks and structured implementation planning.
- Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Law, or a related discipline.
- Skilled Certifications (Preferred/Nice-to-Have):
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Agile Certifications (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP)
- Privacy or Information Security certifications (e.g., CIPP/C, CIPP/E, CIPM, CISA, or CRISC)
