Role Description

We’re looking for a CRPO-registered Psychotherapist to join our growing team.

This role is hybrid with a required on site component in Petawawa, ON. Applicants must be willing to commute or move to Petawawa, ON to support our clinical operations. For a successful applicant outside the geographical area, Serebro Health will consider supporting costs of relocation to be determined on hire.

You must reside in Ontario and be licensed to practice under the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

In this role, you’ll begin by building a caseload with light clinical admin responsibilities and transition into a client-focused workload as your caseload grows. You’ll conduct in-person and virtual sessions, maintain accurate and timely documentation, and ensure compliance with CRPO guidelines.

Caseload & Growth

Caseload development is a clinic responsibility. We generate referrals and manage marketing and intake. You will not be expected to source your own clients or build a personal practice alongside ours.

this is not a sessions-only role. Salaried employment means you're part of a clinical team, so your involvement is key in various areas:

- Accepting referrals as they come rather than selecting around them, except where clinical fit dictates otherwise
- Managing your own schedule and booking directly with your clients, with administrative and technical support behind you
- Timely, high-quality documentation and responsiveness to clients and to admin staff
- Active participation in team meetings, case consultation, and clinical development
- Availability that reflects actual client demand, including in-person work
- Contributing to how the clinic runs: process, quality, and the standards we hold
- Collaboration and coverage when colleagues are away

We carry the risk of filling your calendar. What we ask in return is investment in the clinic itself, not just the hours in it.

Compensation

We provide a tiered salary structure based on a combination of base caseload and your qualification level.

All qualification levels with a caseload of 10 clients or fewer per week receive a common base salary of $55,000.

Once the caseload threshold has been met, the total salary is paid based on qualification level as per below:

- Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying): $65,000
- Registered Psychotherapist: $75,000
- Registered Psychotherapist (qualified for independent practice): $90,000

*Pay rates are reviewed annually

All therapists are capped at 25 clients per week with an expected caseload of 20 clients per week when fully loaded.

Clinical Exclusivity Policy

This is a permanent employee position, not an independent contractor role. As such, therapists hired by Serebro Health are considered part of our internal clinical team and are expected to practice exclusively within the clinic for the duration of their employment.

To ensure continuity of care, protect client confidentiality, and avoid clinical conflicts of interest, therapists may not provide psychotherapy or counselling services through other clinics, private practices, or telehealth platforms during their employment with Serebro Health, unless explicitly authorized in writing by management.

This exclusivity applies only during active employment and does not restrict professional activity after the employment relationship ends.

What You'll Need

Required

- CRPO registration in good standing
- Master’s degree in Psychotherapy, Counselling Psychology, or a related field
- Training and experience in one or more approaches (including CBT, IFS, DBT, Narrative Therapy, or related evidence-based modalities)
- Ability to work autonomously in-person and in remote sessions
- Strong communication, empathy, and clinical judgment
- Familiarity and comfort with digital tools and platforms and a willingness to learn security protocols
- A privacy- and security-first mindset: Protecting client confidentiality is central to how we operate.

Preferred

- Familiarity with platforms such as Noterro or Google Workspace
- Familiarity with the military community and/or emergency services
- Bilingual (English/French or other languages) is an asset
