About the Role

AutoShack is seeking a detail-oriented analyst to support purchasing, pricing, inventory planning, logistics and business reporting. The role combines data analysis with supplier communication, problem solving and day-to-day operational follow-up.

Communication is a core qualification. You must be able to write clear business emails, explain issues accurately and communicate professionally with suppliers, customs brokers, carriers, coworkers and management.

Key Responsibilities

· Analyze sales, inventory, purchasing, pricing and product-performance data using advanced Excel.

· Support forecasting, replenishment, demand planning, excess-inventory analysis and inventory optimization.

· Create and follow up on purchase orders, supplier quotations, availability, shortages, delays and documentation.

· Review supplier costs, lead times, payment terms, landed costs, margins and pricing changes; support RFQs and negotiations.

· Track shipments and work with suppliers, carriers and customs brokers to resolve freight or documentation issues.

· Prepare and audit reports, investigate discrepancies and root causes, and provide explicit findings and recommendations to management.

· Support budgeting, forecasting, financial/operational analysis, cost-saving initiatives and process improvement.

· Use AI-assisted tools and workflow automation responsibly to improve research, analysis, reporting and efficiency.

· Maintain accurate records and work with accounting, warehouse, e-commerce, data and management teams; perform other duties as required.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business/commerce, finance/accounting, economics, engineering, mathematics/statistics, data analytics or a closely related field.

· Advanced Excel: PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, IF/conditional formulas, large datasets, data comparison and reconciliation.

· Professional-level written and spoken English, including clear supplier/business emails and confident communication.

· Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving ability with high attention to detail and data accuracy.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities,



investigate discrepancies and work independently after training.

· Comfort using AI-assisted business tools for research, analysis, reporting or workflow improvement.

Strong Assets

· Purchasing, supplier coordination, pricing/margin analysis, inventory/demand planning, logistics, freight, customs or import documentation.

· Forecasting, cost analysis, business controls, process improvement or automation.

· Python/pandas, Power BI, SQL, ERP systems or other data/reporting tools.

· E-commerce, online marketplaces, automotive parts or retail product experience.

Selection Process

Selected candidates will complete a timed 35–45-minute assessment before interview covering Excel, analytical problem solving, attention to detail, written business communication and practical purchasing, pricing and inventory scenarios.

The assessment must be completed independently without AI, another person or unauthorized outside assistance. Candidates who pass may be asked to complete a short live or onsite skills check.

Existing vacancy. AutoShack may use AI-assisted tools to support applicant screening and assessment. Final hiring decisions are made by AutoShack personnel.
