Microsoft Purview Expert Responsible for owning Microsoft Purview configuration and administration, translating governance requirements into technical solutions, and ensuring audit readiness across Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities - Own Microsoft Purview configuration and administration: configure and manage capabilities such as sensitivity labels, retention, and DLP.

- Translate governance requirements into technical solutions: develop scalable configurations aligned with privacy and compliance needs.
- Test, validate, and optimize controls: troubleshoot issues and ensure consistent, reliable performance.
- Partner with IT and Security teams: support implementation, changes, and ongoing improvements.
- Support audit readiness and governance reporting: ensure controls are defensible and aligned with compliance requirements.
- Enable stakeholder understanding and adoption: communicate how controls work and their impact in practice.

Qualifications - 3+ years experience in information governance, data protection, security, or a related field.

- Previous experience supporting a Microsoft Purview implementation or rollout.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Purview or Microsoft 365 compliance capabilities.
- Ability to translate business or governance requirements into technical configurations.




- Strong understanding of information governance principles (classification, retention, data protection).
- Experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Robust problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot configuration behavior.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts.
- Nice to have: experience as a platform owner or lead administrator.
- Nice to have: experience in a regulated environment.
- Nice to have: familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools.
- Nice to have: experience supporting audit or compliance requirements.
- Relevant certifications.
- Bilingualism (English and French).

Benefits and Compensation Pay Range: 73,465 – 82,648 CAD. Eligible employees can participate in performance‑based incentive programs.
