Role Description The Quality Assurance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Vancouver, BC, responsible for overseeing and enforcing cleaning quality standards across client facilities. This role includes developing and implementing quality assurance processes, conducting regular site inspections, and auditing cleaning performance against company procedures and certifications.

The Quality Assurance

Manager collaborates closely with operations, supervisors, and frontline staff to provide coaching, resolve service issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Daily tasks include preparing quality reports, tracking corrective actions, monitoring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and communicating findings to management and clients.



The role also involves supporting training programs, reviewing client feedback, and helping optimize workflows to ensure consistent, high-level service delivery.

Qualifications

- Experience in quality assurance or quality control in janitorial, facilities management, or related service industries, with solid skills in inspections, audits, and process improvement.
- Knowledge of cleaning standards, health and safety regulations, and industry certifications (e.g., Green Seal, ISSA CIMS), including practical understanding of best practices for commercial and institutional cleaning.
- Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and data tracking, including the ability to use digital tools and software for scheduling, inspections, and performance metrics.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with management, supervisors, frontline staff, and clients.
- Proven organizational and time-management abilities, including prioritizing multiple sites, managing follow-up actions, and working independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience leading teams or overseeing service delivery in a fast-paced environment; previous managerial or supervisory experience in building maintenance or cleaning services is an asset.
- High attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between sites in Lower Mainland and surrounding areas, as required.
