This role supports production operations, ensures compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 requirements, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Health, Safety & Compliance Follow all company health, safety, and environmental (EHS) procedures
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Report unsafe conditions or hazards Inspection & Testing Perform incoming, in-process, first article, and final inspections using standard measuring tools
Perform inspections in accordance with defined sampling plans, inspection standards, and acceptance criteria
Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional inspections against drawings and specifications
Accurately Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, tolerances, and BOMs
Operate and support CMM equipment (basic execution)
Support incoming inspection and supplier quality verification activities (as assigned) Quality System Compliance Execute quality procedures, inspection plans, and work instructions
Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
Ensure traceability of materials and inspection results
Support compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements Non-Conformance Management Identify, document, label, and segregate non-conforming product in designated areas (e.g., quarantine/MRB), support disposition per procedure and place product on hold when requirements are not met
Participate in root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone) and support corrective and preventive actions implementation
Stop inspection release and escalate product/process risk to Quality/Engineering/Production leadership as required Measurement Systems & Calibration Use and verify inspection equipment in accordance with calibration requirements
Support Gage R&R; and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) activities
Ensure proper handling and care of measuring equipment and tools Data Collection & Reporting Collect and record inspection results and quality data
Support Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities by collecting, recording, and interpreting process data under guidance, and escalating abnormal trends
Prepare inspection reports and quality documentation
Work within defined procedures and escalate non-conformances, abnormal trends, and complex issues to Quality/Engineering/Production leadership as required
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of quality and inspection data Cross-Functional Support Work with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve issues
Provide feedback on product and process quality concerns
Support new product/process introduction activities
Collect and compile operational and quality data to support production planning and process improvement
Assist in developing manufacturing or quality procedures and specifications Training & Continuous Improvement Assist in training operators on inspection methods, quality standards, and proper use of measurement equipment
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (6S, Lean), contributing to defect reduction, process stability, and operational efficiency ISO Responsibilities Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements for product conformity, process control, and documented information
Maintain traceability and integrity of inspection and test records
Support internal and external audits by providing objective evidence and participating in corrective action follow-up
Adhere to ISO 17025 principles for measurement accuracy, calibration, and traceability (as applicable)
Ensure inspection and quality records are maintained as objective evidence for compliance and audit purposes
Ensure measurements are performed under suitable environmental and handling conditions to maintain accuracy and reliability (as applicable).

Compliance with calibration schedules and documentation requirements Working Conditions Manufacturing and inspection environment

Use of precision measurement equipment and tools
May require shift work and flexible work hours Qualifications Post-secondary education in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field preferred
3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality inspection environment
Strong working knowledge of GD&T;, engineering drawings, and precision measurement tools
Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and quality systems
Hands-on experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for inspection or basic program execution is considered an asset
Experience with inspection software, data collection systems, or quality databases is an asset
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 requirements is preferred
