Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Receiving Worker/Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing incoming shipments, safely operating forklifts and reach trucks, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth warehouse operations and contribute to our commitment to quality and sustainability.
Responsibilities
· Receive and unload trucks in a safe and timely manner.
· Verify quantity of received goods according to the record and check for damage of received goods.
· Organize and storage received goods according to instructions of supervisor.
· Maintain receiving logs and make sure that all received goods are recorded in company database.
· Operate forklift when needed in a safe manner with valid forklift license.
· Maintain a clean working workplace
· Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to avoid potential injury and hazards when working in warehouse
· Achieve target quota and any other operation related responsibilities may be added as the company continues to grow
· Provide input on best practices, policies and procedures with respect to the others
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or similar warehouse equipment; certification preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and MRP software
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or e-commerce fulfillment is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order picking and inventory management
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately
- Physical ability to load & unload materials repeatedly throughout shifts
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
