Peak Precision Machining is a full-service job shop located in the Rocky Mountains just outside Canmore, Alberta. We specialize in machining, fabrication, equipment repair, and field services for a wide range of industrial equipment. About the Role

As a Red Seal Millwright at Peak Precision Machining, you'll work alongside experienced machinists and pump service mechanics in a collaborative shop environment. Every day brings current challenges, with work ranging from equipment rebuilds and repairs to in-field mechanical services. This is an excellent prospect for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working on a wide variety of industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

- Install, remove, inspect, and repair industrial equipment (i.e. compressors, gearboxes, pumps, motors, etc.)
- Perform hydraulic cylinder repairs and rebuilds
- Assist with fabrication and custom repair projects
- Complete laser alignments
- Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend repair solutions
- Rigging and craning equipment
- Work safely in both shop and field environments
- Collaborate with machinists and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently

- Red Seal Millwright certification
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to quality workmanship and safe work practices

Compensation

Wages are competitive and will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
