Summary of responsibilities:

The Regional Advisor, Deployment Planning and Execution supports the Regional Leader/Regional Advisor to provide the overall coordination and scheduling of the various teams for project tasks including CATSA program deployment, logistics, New Technology Introduction, Service Delivery, Airport Authority, movers/riggers, electrical/data contractors, and shippers. In addition, the incumbent will be required to attend deployments on-site to ensure successful delivery,



installation, testing, and Go-Lives. Extensive travel will be required throughout the Region.

What you need to succeed To qualify for the position, you must have:

- Graduation from a recognized college or university with specialization in logistics, technology, engineering, or another specialty relevant to the duties of the position.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a technology environment involving equipment deployments.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience scheduling, planning and project management for the deployment, delivery and installation (in a commercial or industrial environment) of heavy and complex pieces of equipment.
- Experience planning and overseeing a schedule and project tracking activities.
- Knowledge of root cause failure analysis of equipment.
- Knowledge of logistics management practices and principles.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.

- Ability to analyze and provide recommendations.

Valuable skills include:

- Knowledge of airport operations and the airline industry.
- Experience in deployments related to aviation, security or screening technology.
- Understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Knowledge of CATSA's mandate and priorities, as well as an awareness of relevant legislation impacting CATSA.

Specific work requirements:

- Ability to travel as required.

- Language Profile: BBBB/BBBB
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Reliability security clearance.
