Progressive Contractors Association of Canada (PCA)

Edmonton

Who is PCA?

PCA is a national construction association that represents more than 150 construction contractors across Canada. Our members employ over 40 thousand skilled tradespeople who primarily belong to the CLAC union and other progressive unions.

We act as the conduit between our members, government, and industry to help our members grow their business.

PCA was founded in 2000 by a small group of like-minded contractors who wanted change: more innovative industry practices and fairer government policies that provide an equal opportunity to build projects and deliver good value on all infrastructure investments.

Since our founding, PCA has worked to ensure fair access to work opportunities for our members by promoting a legislative framework and industry practices that establish a level playing field and build a up-to-date, competitive Canadian construction industry.
