Regional Operations Lead – Grand Bend

About the Role

Simple Hosts Arrival Co. is looking for a dependable, organized, and hands-on Regional Operations Lead to oversee our Grand Bend vacation rental housekeeping operations.

We currently service approximately 30 vacation rental properties in the Grand Bend area and are continuing to grow.

The Regional Operations Lead will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the region, ensuring our cleaning teams are supported, properties are consistently guest-ready, and operational issues are handled quickly and effectively.

This is not a traditional desk job. The right person will be comfortable managing schedules and people while also being out in the field completing inspections, supporting cleaners, coordinating supplies, solving problems, and making sure our standards are maintained.

What You'll Be Responsible For

You will take ownership of the day-to-day housekeeping operations for the Grand Bend region, including:

- Coordinating and maintaining cleaner schedules
- Ensuring scheduled turnovers are properly staffed and completed on time
- Managing cleaner call-outs and arranging backup coverage
- Conducting regular quality-control inspections
- Training and onboarding new cleaners
- Supporting the recruitment and retention of reliable cleaning team members
- Monitoring cleaning quality and addressing performance issues
- Managing linen, inventory, cleaning products, and property supplies
- Coordinating deliveries and restocking as required
- Responding to operational issues involving properties, cleaners, and housekeeping
- Investigating and resolving guest or owner concerns related to cleaning
- Ensuring company procedures, checklists, and property standards are followed
- Assisting with the onboarding of new vacation rental properties
- Maintaining accurate operational records and reporting
- Working closely with the COO to improve efficiency, quality,



and regional profitability
- Helping grow the Grand Bend portfolio while maintaining strong service standards

Previous experience in vacation rentals, hospitality, housekeeping, property management, hotel operations, or team supervision is an asset, but is not required for the right candidate.

Important Requirements

Because vacation rental turnovers frequently occur on weekends and during peak travel periods, this position requires flexibility.





Candidates must

- Have a valid driver's licence
- Have reliable transportation
- Be able to travel throughout Grand Bend and the surrounding area
- Be available to respond to occasional urgent operational situations
- Be comfortable working some weekends and peak-season periods as required

This position does not mean personally completing every cleaning shift when someone calls out. However, the Regional Operations Lead is responsible for making sure the problem gets solved.

Compensation

Base salary: $45,000–$50,000 per year, depending on experience.

The position also includes the opportunity to earn a performance-based bonus tied to regional results, including cleaning quality, staffing reliability, profitability, and overall operational performance.

There is significant prospect for increased responsibility and compensation as Simple Hosts Arrival Co. continues to grow its Grand Bend operations.
