Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a robust understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Duties

- Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric and orthodontic patients.
- Utilize Power Practice software for patient record management and appointment scheduling.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed, including dental assisting tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.




- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications

- Valid British columbia license to practice as a registered Dental Hygienist.
- Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with familiarity in pediatrics or orthodontics considered a plus.
- Proficiency in Power practice is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $57.00-$60.00 per hour
