Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and flexible Registered Early Childhood Educator(s) or Early Childhood Assistant(s) to join our team.

In this role, you will be supporting daily operations, ensuring smooth and thorough staffing coverage.

Responsibilities

- Assist with classroom activities by supporting educators and staff
- Attend to children's needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being
- Step into various classroom roles as needed, including supervising children during play, meals, transitions and rest periods
- Work with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming learning environment
- Communicate effectively with all staff regarding children's needs and classroom updates
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure environment for children and staff

Skills

- Registered Early Childhood Educator must hold a diploma in Early Childhood Education and hold a good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (required)
- Early Childhood Assistant experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings is highly recommended




- Classroom experience that demonstrates an understanding of early childhood development principles and knowledge of CCEYA and HDLH practices
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to support diverse learning needs, patience and adaptability
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and engage positively with children and families
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing classroom dynamics and support multiple roles as needed

Pay: $21.00-$31.00 per hour
