Ashwood Glen School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our Toddler Program. Responsibilities

- Plan and implement engaging, play-based and inquiry-driven learning experiences that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
- Create a warm, safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Observe, document, and assess children's learning and development to inform programming and individual learning goals.
- Maintain a well-prepared classroom that encourages independence, exploration, and meaningful learning.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through open and professional communication.
- Guide children's behaviour using positive, respectful, and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Ensure compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), Ministry of Education requirements, and all health and safety policies.
- Work collaboratively with the Early Years team and participate in school events,



meetings, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a licensed early learning or child care setting is preferred.
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification.
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Strong knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) and How Does Learning Happen?
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to creating exceptional learning experiences.
