Key Responsibilities
- Follow VCC policies and procedures, the College of ECE Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, and CCEYA requirements
- Observe and document children’s learning and development
- Plan and implement engaging, play-based programming aligned with How Does Learning Happen? (HDLH)
- Provide a safe,



inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Build strong, professional relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Maintain required documentation, reporting, and classroom organization

Qualifications
- Registered and in positive standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (RECE)
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check (within 6 months)
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
- Up-to-date immunization records
- Physically able to lift and assist children up to 4 years of age
