Deliver specialized care as a Registered Nurse in the Critical Care Unit at North Bay Regional Health Centre. This role focuses on critically ill patients and demands excellent assessment and communication skills. Join a dedicated team supporting life-threatening conditions in a 16-bed specialized unit.
You will collaborate with Anaesthetists, Surgeons, and Therapists in delivering exceptional patient care. A solid foundation in Medical/Surgical and Critical Care is essential for success in this fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor critically ill patients with state-of-the-art systems
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy
- Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide health education to patients and families
- Support a secure and effective patient care environment Requirements:
- Current Ontario nursing registration and BLS certification
- Minimum 2-3 years of Medical/Surgical experience
- Critical Care experience of at least 1-2 years
- Expertise in ACLS, IV Therapy, and Central Line Management
