Your primary responsibility includes managing the care of patients in the Operating Room setting. You will apply principles from the Philosophy of Patient-Focused Care, conducting assessments and providing interventions. Teamwork with other healthcare professionals is essential to promoting effective patient outcomes and ensuring safety within surgical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care for Operating Room patients
• Complete thorough assessments and necessary interventions
• Educate patients about surgery and care expectations




• Advocate for patients’ rights and needs in the OR
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
Requirements:
• Current Ontario Registration with College of Nurses
• Valid B.C.L.S. Certificate
• Must have completed post-graduate O.R. certificate
• Recent Operating Room experience is preferred
• Knowledge of Aseptic Technique needed
