Research Assistant Department: Psychiatric Nursing Wage: $21.63 per hour Hours of Work: 80 hours over 3.5 months Start Date: September 15, 2026 Number of Positions Available: 1 Length of Appointment: until December 31, 2026 Date Issued: August 6, 2026 Duties: Assist in preparing research materials Assist with data collection, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination Assist with preparing presentations, publications, creative outputs Assist in seeking publication opportunities for the research team. Maintain communications and outreach to research partners and sponsors. Perform other relevant duties as assigned. Qualifications/Experience: The ideal candidate will: be currently enrolled in an Undergraduate program at Brandon University; preference given to those enrolled in a Master’s program. have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively; robust written communication skills are especially important possess strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and be self-motivated. have the ability to work independently and with others effectively.



have the ability to uphold high standards of confidentiality and research integrity.
