We are seeking a motivated and skilled Residential Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining residential roofing systems to ensure safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal. Your expertise will help homeowners protect their homes from the elements while contributing to the overall quality and longevity of roofing projects.

Duties

- Measure and cut roofing materials using hand tools and blueprint specifications to ensure precise fit and installation.
- Install various roofing systems, including shingles, metal panels, and membrane roofs, following safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Perform repairs on damaged roofs, replacing worn or broken shingles, tiles, or flashing components.
- Use caulking and sealing techniques to prevent leaks and improve weather resistance around vents, chimneys, and edges.
- Lift heavy materials such as shingles, plywood, and metal sheets safely and efficiently while adhering to proper ergonomic practices.
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute roofing layouts and specifications.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met and identify areas for improvement or future maintenance needs.

Qualifications

- Proven experience with construction or roofing projects,



demonstrating knowledge of residential roofing techniques.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as hammers, saws, pry bars, and measuring devices.
- Strong carpentry skills with the ability to handle framing or related tasks as needed.
- Familiarity with caulking procedures for sealing joints and preventing leaks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during material handling and installation processes.
- Competence in reading blueprints or technical drawings related to roofing layouts.
- Handyman experience or general construction background is highly desirable for versatility on-site.

Pay: $40.68-$49.99 per hour
