Skipper Jack’s is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy, high-volume restaurant.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can manage a fast-paced team, strengthen operational systems, control costs, and maintain consistently high standards of food and service.

The General

Manager will work closely with our on-site ownership team, providing regular updates and collaborating on operational priorities, improvements, and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily restaurant operations
- Work closely with the on-site ownership team
- Lead, train, schedule, and support front and back-of-house teams
- Implement efficient systems and operating procedures
- Manage staffing levels, labour costs, and team productivity
- Oversee inventory, ordering, shipping, and receiving
- Monitor food costs, waste, sales, and overall profitability
- Maintain high standards for service, food quality, cleanliness, and safety
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Coordinate purchasing, inventory,



and operational needs with our sister business, Fisherman’s Corner Seafood Market
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and support continued business growth

Qualifications
- Previous restaurant management experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with labour control, inventory management, purchasing, and restaurant financials
- Ability to implement processes, improve efficiencies, and hold teams accountable
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
