We are working with a well-known Chef (with a top-100 restaurant in Canada for the last decade) to meld two cultures together (Jewish-Chinese) to create a unique, family-friendly, dining experience in an underserved, yet affluent and busy area of mid-town Toronto.

Are target opening date is September 2026, and we are currently proceeding through construction with one of the pre-eminent restaurant design firms and General Contractors in the GTA. Our service will be focused on creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where guests can enjoy memorable dining experiences. We have a broad target customer, including family-friendly, affluent patrons, and events in our private dining space.

Role Description

This is a full time, on-site role for a Restaurant General Manager, based in Toronto, ON. The General Manager will oversee day-to-day operations,



ensuring smooth service delivery and high customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing budgets, driving profitability, hiring and training staff, and maintaining operational excellence. The candidate will also be responsible for promoting a positive customer experience and upholding the restaurant’s standards of quality and service.

Qualifications

- Experience in P&L; Management and Budgeting to optimize financial performance
- Proven ability to enhance Customer Satisfaction and deliver exceptional Customer Service
- Skills in Hiring, training, and managing team members effectively
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and relevant safety regulations is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus
