The Board also offers online learning accessed worldwide through its Virtual Learning Centre.Purpose of Position Under the guidance of Chief Technology Services Manager, the Cybersecurity and Network Manager takes a leadership role in all aspects of the management of cybersecurity and network solutions across TLDSB. This includes:Design and manage all aspects of cybersecurity for TLDSB including collaborative procedural development to mitigate risks and cyber threatsManage and monitor complex network solutions to ensure stable, reliable, and recoverable services to all users. Ongoing evaluation ensures emerging needs continue to be addressed, redundancies are eliminated, and cost savings are maximized.Convene and lead the Cybersecurity Incident Response Team (CIRT) as needed, or requested, to direct investigations and forensic analysis reporting to TLDSB Senior Management.Oversee compliance and data governance by ensuring all network and security protocols align with provincial privacy legislation (e.G., MFIPPA, EDSTA) and industry-standard security frameworks.Support the Chief Technology Services Manager in the strategic planning of enterprise network architecture, providing expertise to ensure Board systems remain aligned with emerging industry standards and pedagogical goals.Overall, the incumbent will contribute to student achievement and the TLDSB Mission Statement by ensuring equitable access to innovative and cutting-edge solutions to support maximal learning outcomes for the 18,000 students of the board.
