Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Restoration Parts Specialist to join our team. The job candidate would be responsible for sourcing, ordering, and managing parts for classic and vintage vehicle restoration projects. This role ensures timely availability of quality parts and supports the restoration team with expert parts knowledge.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of trucks from the 1930's to the 1990's. Mechanical knowledge is a significant asset, as it will aid in the restoration process and ensure quality service.

Southland International is a truck and trailer dealership in Lethbridge, Alberta. Since our establishment in 1985, we have remained locally owned and operated throughout the entire duration. We specialize in current and used international trucks, as well as Doepker and Renn trailers. Our products and service offerings have evolved to include e-commerce part sales that stretch all over the world.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and source OEM or compatible parts for classic car restorations
- Manage parts orders, tracking,



and inventory
- Communicate with suppliers and negotiate pricing and lead times
- Inspect received parts for accuracy and quality
- Assist technicians with parts selection and availability
- Maintain records of parts usage, costs, and supplier information
- Stay current on market availability for rare or discontinued parts

Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in auto parts sourcing or restoration
- Strong knowledge of classic/vintage vehicle parts and systems
- Familiarity with parts catalogs, online marketplaces, and vendor networks and micro fiche
- - customer service experiences an asset as well as clear communication via phone and or email

- Proficient with inventory software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and organization skills

Preferred:

- Experience with classic International Trucks an asset
- Background in automotive repair or restoration

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move within a workshop environment
