Position Summary

Working as part of a team, the Retail Associate performs all general operations and merchandising duties required to successfully run Minisi Convenience & Gift Store.

Key Responsibilities

- The Store Associate is responsible for the following:
- Operating a cash register
- Assisting in ordering, receiving, and stocking all merchandise;

- Ensuring the established merchandising practices are followed;
- Providing quality customer service; and
- Ensuring store cleanliness.

Role

- Responsible for the day-to-day sales, maintaining the general operation of the store, and communicating with the team for various tasks around the entire store.
- The Retail Associate maintains store cleanliness and customer shopping experience, retrieving and refilling product shelves and assisting customers.




- Ensuring good customer service by maintaining store maintenance and cleanliness standards in a protected and efficient manner.
- Cleaning and maintaining the restrooms in the main foyer entrance and refilling paper towel dispensers.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and determine the number of individual things in a unit or group.
- The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

- The Associate is regularly required to walk or stand, lift and/or move up to 20kg, perform tasks involving firm grasping, and be required to bend, twist or squat, and will be involved in frequent repetitive hand actions.

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
