About the Role

We are a footwear wholesale, sales & distribution company, based in our newly constructed facility in Bradford, Ontario. We specialize in providing world leading fashionably comfortable footwear solutions for Canadian Retailers. With a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement, we have grown rapidly and established ourselves as a key player in the Canadian Independent footwear industry.

In addition to wholesale, we have a retail footwear outlet store located in our corporate head office location. As a Retail Sales Associate, you are the face of the brand to walk-in customers, providing a knowledgeable and welcoming shopping experience for footwear enthusiasts looking for quality product at outlet value.

This is a part-time/full time hourly role reporting to Store Manager /Assistant Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

· Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner

· Listen to customer needs and provide informed product recommendations based on fit, style, comfort, and intended use

· Demonstrate product knowledge across the Rieker brand and any other labels carried in the outlet

· Drive sales by highlighting promotions, seasonal features, and product benefits

· Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system, including cash, debit, and credit payments

Store Operations

· Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor

· Receive, sort, and stock new inventory; ensure accurate labelling and sizing displays

· Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with periodic inventory reconciliations

· Coordinate with the warehouse/distribution team for stock replenishment

· Open and/or close the store according to established procedures

Product & Brand Knowledge

· Stay informed on current product lines, styles, and sizing

· Communicate any customer feedback on product or service to the supervisor

· Professional Brand representation





Qualifications

· Previous retail or customer-facing experience (footwear or apparel an asset)

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods

· Basic math skills and comfort with POS/cash handling

· Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

· Footwear product knowledge or genuine interest in fashion/footwear (preferred)

· Experience with inventory management or warehouse-adjacent retail (preferred)

Working Conditions

- Retail outlet environment located within a wholesale/distribution facility
- May involve lifting and carrying shoeboxes and stock (up to 30 lbs)
- Shifts may include weekdays, Saturdays, and select holidays depending on store hours. Hours of operation are Mon – Thurs 10:00am – 6:00pm, Fri - Sat 10:00am - 5:00 pm, staff maybe scheduled up to ½ hr prior to store opening and will be required to stay till closing procedures are complete.
- Dress code applies; professional but casual appearance expected on the sales floor

Compensation

- Hourly rate: Commensurate with experience
- [Part-time / Full-time] — 20-30 hrs/week for p/t, 35-40 hrs/week for f/t
