We are a family owned fishing & hunting retail store. We carry a full line of quality fishing and hunting supplies and clothing. We offer guided fishing trips on the Upper Bow River in summer months, and Ice Fishing Adventures in the winter season. We also have a well-established engraving department, and offer professional engraving and sublimation services to our customers.
We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time, motivated and enthusiastic person with a strong work ethic to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate to assist our customers in store and over the phone.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and explain fishing and hunting products and services we offer.
- Assist with booking guided fishing adventures for clients.
- Promote guided fishing tours.
- Conduct cash and credit sales transactions using POS System in an accurate manner.
- Provide information to customers about the area and types of fishing.
- Assist customers to purchase Provincial and National Park fishing licenses.
- Help clients looking to purchase spin and fly fishing gear, supplies, flies, fly tying materials, clothing, bear spray, hunting gear and supplies.
- Demonstrate products and techniques such as casting,
basic knots, fly and spin rod set up and spooling of line.
- Maintain customer relationships through excellent customer service.
- Maintain a tidy, clean and safe work area
Qualifications:
- Strong computer knowledge, experience with Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- High School Diploma
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Basic cash handling experience (including accurate processing of cash, debit and credit transactions.)
- Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
- Driver's License - considered an asset
- Flexible schedule - shift will include weekend work
Job Type: Full time Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
