We are looking for an experienced Revit Software Engineer / BIM Automation Developer to improve and maintain our custom casework system in Revit.

The ideal candidate should be able to create new Revit families, modify existing families, troubleshoot parameters, and develop/fix automated schedules.

Responsibilities

- Create and modify custom Revit families for casework/cabinetry.
- Troubleshoot family parameters and nested families.
- Create and manage Shared Parameters and project/family parameters.
- Build and modify Revit schedules so they accurately pull information from model elements.
- Diagnose why parameters that are visible in the family are not appearing correctly in schedules.
- Develop solutions for cabinets, fillers, countertops, panels, doors, dimensions, hardware, and other casework components.
- Improve our existing automated casework workflow.




- Where necessary, develop Revit API / Dynamo / Python / C# automation to make the workflow more reliable.
- Make sure changes to families automatically propagate to schedules without requiring manual data entry.
- Help establish a scalable system that we can continue using as our casework library grows.

Required Skills

Must have

- Strong Revit experience
- Advanced Revit Family creation
- Experience with Shared Parameters
- Advanced Revit Schedules
- Understanding of nested families and parameter mapping
- Experience troubleshooting parameters that don't schedule correctly
- Robust understanding of Revit's data structure
