As a Winter Guest Services Agent at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, you play a key role in delivering a seamless, personalized and memorable mountain experience from arrival to departure. You are often the first and last interaction our guests have and you set the tone for their visit. The role includes both indoor and outdoor responsibilities, requiring flexibility, professionalism, and a strong understanding of daily operations.
Guest Services
Agents work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and must be able to manage changing operational needs while maintaining a positive, guest-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver warm, authentic, and knowledgeable service that reflects our Guest Obsessed culture.
Welcome guests and provide support throughout their visit, ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to departure
Respond to guest inquiries and resolve guest service issues in a professional and timely manner
Maintain strong knowledge of our POS system, products, promotions, policies, and activity offerings
Stay informed on daily operational updates, including weather, trail conditions, lift status, events, and mountain activities
Confidently guide guests to ensure they are prepared for a safe and successful day on the mountain
Process guest transactions accurately, including cash handling and POS operations
Monitor lift access points and scan passes with attention and awareness to prevent misuse and fraudulent activity
Support guest flow and maintain a welcoming, organized, and efficient environment
Manage long guest lineups and high customer demand during peak operating periods while maintaining professionalism and excellent service standards
Perform general cleaning duties
Complete additional duties as required
Qualifications & Skills:
Work eligibility in Canada – can provide work permit and SIN documentation
Previous experience in guest service and/or the ski industry preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging guest interactions professionally
Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced, high-volume environment while remaining organized and attentive to detail
Ability to manage changing priorities and fluctuating guest volumes with a positive and adaptable approach
Cash handling experience
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Sales skills
Team player with a mature, enthusiastic and guest service-oriented attitude
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
Passion for the mountains, guest service, and the Revelstoke experience
Fluency in English, second languages are an asset.
