Howitt Construction is a busy excavation company based out of Red Deer. We're looking for experienced nightshift rock truck operators for a site preparation project located 1.5hrs NW of Whitecourt. Transportation will be provided from Whitecourt to/from work site. Work contract is approx 2 months long, start is Aug 17.

Candidates must be able to perform all the skills in the Scope of Work, and work in a protected manner following all policies and procedures.

Work Details

- 10 - 11 hr working shifts plus 1.5 hr of paid drive time, transportation provided,
- 7 days a week, long weekends off (4 days)
- Hotel accommodation/LOA available,
- Must have: high visibility vest, steel toed boots, safety glasses, gloves and hard hat.

Rock Truck Scope of Work





- Minimum of 5 months experience,
- Operate machine safely,
- Dump loads where directed,
- Maintain consistent distance when pulling up to excavator,
- Complete walk arounds,
- Fuel and grease own machine.

PPE Requirements

- Steel toed boots,
- High visibility safety vest,
- Safety glasses,
- Hard hat,
- Gloves.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal Pay: $24.00 per hour
