Hotel Port aux Basques is located at Channel-Port aux Basques, NL. The company is currently looking for applications for the role of Room service waiter/waitress. We are seeking a self-disciplined individual with exceptional interpersonal skills.

The chosen applicant will be required to join and begin their duties as soon as possible. The open positions are for Permanent employment or Full time job. The shift schedule encompasses shift times which include Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Early Morning and Morning.

- The candidate must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
- The candidate must describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers.
- The candidate will be responsible for advising on menu selection.
- The candidate must transparent and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
- The candidate must greet customers, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about food and beverages.
- The candidate must be able to serve food and beverages.
- The candidate will be responsible for taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff.
- The candidate must provide excellent customer service.

Job Requirements





- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 9 kg (20 lbs).

- The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
- The candidate should work in a hotel, motel, or resort with additional sports and leisure facilities framed in a natural environment that attracts visitors beyond the room.
