Morning Prep Cook

Shift: Primarily 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Overview

We're looking for a dependable, organized, and hardworking Morning Prep Cook to help set our team up for success each day.

This position is primarily focused on food preparation and kitchen organization. You'll be responsible for ensuring ingredients are prepped, stocked, and ready before peak service begins. While your primary role is prep, you'll jump in to support the line during busy periods when needed.

Responsibilities

- Prepare fresh ingredients according to Rosie’s recipes and standards
- Portion and organize ingredients for daily service
- Prep vegetables, sauces, proteins, and other menu components
- Restock prep stations and ensure adequate product levels throughout the day
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and prep area
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Label, rotate, and store products using FIFO practices
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
- Complete daily prep lists accurately and efficiently
- Wash dishes and kitchen equipment as needed




- Support the line during peak service periods when additional help is required
- Assist with closing prep tasks before the end of the shift

Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
