As part of Sensity, a leading not-for-profit organization, you will work closely with those facing dual sensory impairment. This part time role involves varied shifts and focuses on supporting communication, personal care, and daily living skills. You will also engage in empowering clients to achieve their personal goals and enhance their living experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support individuals within home and community settings
• Use communication techniques for effective information relay
• Empower clients in personal hygiene and meal preparation
• Provide personal care including medication administration
• Ensure complete documentation and records
Requirements:
• College diploma in relevant human services field
• Experience with developmental disabilities and mental health
• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Valid Class G driver's license with clean abstract
• Training provided for client support
