We are looking for an experienced and organized RTM Construction Coordinator to join our team and oversee the construction process from approved plans through completion and delivery.

Position Overview The RTM Construction Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day construction of multiple RTM homes while ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to Homes To Go's quality standards.

This position requires strong leadership, construction knowledge, organization, communication skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple trades and projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Construction Coordination

- Oversee the construction of multiple RTM homes from start to completion.
- Manage daily construction activities and ensure work progresses according to the established schedule.
- Coordinate trades, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff.
- Ensure construction follows approved plans, specifications, building codes, and company standards.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure deficiencies are identified and corrected promptly.
- Conduct regular inspections throughout the construction process.
- Coordinate inspections and required approvals.
- Ensure homes are completed and ready for transport according to scheduled delivery dates.

Scheduling & Coordination

- Develop, maintain, and communicate construction schedules.
- Coordinate trade sequencing to minimize delays and downtime.
- Identify potential scheduling conflicts before they impact the project.
- Communicate weekly construction schedules and upcoming requirements to trades.
- Coordinate material deliveries and ensure materials are available when required.
- Maintain accurate project timelines and provide regular updates to management.

Trades & Subcontractor Management

- Coordinate and manage relationships with subcontractors and trades.
- Ensure trades understand project requirements, schedules, and quality expectations.
- Monitor trade performance, productivity, and workmanship.
- Address scheduling issues, deficiencies,



and conflicts in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with sourcing and coordinating additional trades when required.
- Ensure job sites remain organized, secure, and productive.

Materials & Inventory

- Review material requirements and coordinate orders with purchasing and suppliers.
- Ensure materials arrive on time and are correct for each project.
- Monitor material usage and help minimize waste.
- Identify shortages or incorrect materials before they affect production.
- Coordinate storage and organization of materials throughout the build process.

Quality Control

- Maintain a high standard of workmanship throughout every stage of construction.
- Complete quality-control inspections at key stages of the build.
- Ensure deficiencies are documented, communicated, and corrected.
- Conduct final walkthroughs prior to delivery.
- Ensure completed homes meet Homes To Go quality standards and customer specifications.

Budget & Cost Control

- Monitor construction costs and identify potential cost overruns.
- Review change orders and additional work.
- Ensure work is completed according to approved specifications and budgets.
- Communicate unexpected costs or construction issues to management promptly.
- Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce construction costs.

Safety & Compliance

- Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure trades and subcontractors follow applicable safety requirements.
- Ensure construction complies with applicable building codes, regulations, and company policies.
- Report and address safety concerns immediately.

Communication

- Maintain clear communication between construction, sales, drafting, purchasing, management, trades, and customers when required.
- Provide regular project updates to management.
- Communicate delays, deficiencies, material issues, and other concerns promptly.
- Help ensure a smooth transition from construction completion to transportation and site delivery.

Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in residential construction management, site supervision, or a similar role.




- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and sequencing.
- Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors.
- Experience with RTM construction is considered a strong asset.
- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and building practices.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Robust problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple homes and competing priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction scheduling software is an asset.
- Valid driver's license.
