Regulatory Affairs Director - North America Introduction Hello,My name is Jérémy Dupeuble, Recruitment Consultant at FED ManuTech.I am currently partnering with a well-established North American food manufacturing organization recognized for its large-scale production capabilities and distribution footprint.As regulatory complexity continues to increase across Canada and the United States, the company is looking to strengthen its regulatory leadership at a strategic level.This is an opportunity for a senior regulatory professional who wants to influence compliance strategy while remaining close to real manufacturing operations.Mission Your RoleReporting to the VP of Quality & Regulatory, you will lead the regulatory strategy across North America.Key responsibilities include:Defining and executing the North American regulatory roadmapEnsuring ongoing compliance with FDA, CFIA and applicable provincial/state regulationsOverseeing product registrations, regulatory submissions and market access documentationReviewing ingredient declarations, nutritional claims and labeling complianceLeading and developing a team of 5-6 regulatory professionalsStructuring internal regulatory processes and setting clear prioritiesMonitoring regulatory updates (FSMA, Safe Food for Canadians Regulations, BRCGS, allergens, import/export, etc.)Assessing operational impact of regulatory changesPartnering closely with Quality, R&D, Operations,



Marketing and SalesActing as primary liaison with regulatory authoritiesRepresenting the organization with external stakeholders and industry associationsThis is a leadership position combining strategic influence with robust operational involvement.Your profile Your ProfileBachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Regulatory Affairs or related field8-12 years of regulatory experience in food manufacturing or highly regulated CPG environmentsStrong knowledge of FDA, CFIA, SFCR (RSAC), FSMA and food legislation frameworksFamiliarity with BRCGS standardsExperience supporting multi-site operations across Canada and the U.S.Proven team leadership experienceStrong analytical and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills in both English and FrenchYou combine regulatory rigor with business acumen and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.Working ConditionsBase salary between $110,000 and $140,000 (up to $150,000 depending on experience)Annual bonus programBased in Boucherville, QCHigh visibility role with senior leadershipStructured and growing manufacturing environmentDirect impact on North American operationsOrganization committed to strengthening its regulatory excellenceOther openings that may pick your interest
