PROJECT MANAGER – Major Capital Projects & Facility ExpansionLocation: Ingersoll, OntarioCompensation: $175K – $230K + Annual BonusEmployment Type: Full-Time, On-Site, PermanentReports To: PresidentEligibility: Canadian Citizens OnlyLead large infrastructure and facility expansion projects driving Canada’s defense & industrial manufacturing future.This is a rare opportunity to take charge of a large-scale, high-visibility capital expansion project that will shape the future of a key defense-aligned manufacturing site. As Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind a major greenfield/brownfield facility build(s), managing complex construction, infrastructure, and equipment installation programs under tight timelines.In this role, you’ll combine business-critical leadership with hands-on technical oversight — ensuring every phase, from tendering through commissioning, is executed to the highest safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Why This Role Matters- Strategic impact: You’ll lead a cornerstone project essential to the company’s long-term growth and production capacity.- End-to-end oversight: Manage all phases — design, construction, installation, and commissioning — for a new or expanded manufacturing facility.- High-stakes environment: Work within the defense industrial base supporting national and allied programs.- Executive visibility: Report directly to the President and work closely with senior leadership, DND, DoD, and major prime contractors.- Career-defining challenge: Confront complex timelines, technical constraints,



and multidisciplinary coordination — and deliver excellence.Key Responsibilities- Lead full project lifecycle management — from tendering and proposal development through execution, delivery, and closeout.- Oversee brownfield and greenfield construction projects, including site development, utility tie-ins, building modifications, process equipment installation, and commissioning.- Manage and align multidisciplinary teams (engineering, procurement, quality, operations, and construction management) to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.- Coordinate all moving parts under aggressive project timelines, balancing technical precision with on-the-ground adaptability.- Interface directly with DND, DoD, and major defense contractors to ensure performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction.- Administer complex contracts and cost models (Firm Fixed Price, cost-based), ensuring proper documentation and governance.- Ensure compliance with defense, industrial, and security standards (CGP, ITAR/EAR, ISO/AS9100).- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all phases of project execution.Required Qualifications- Canadian citizenship (mandatory).- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline, ideal.- 7+ years of progressive project management experience leading large-scale capital, facility construction,



or factory setup projects in industrial or defense manufacturing.- Experience within secure, regulated, or defense environments (DND, DoD, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing sectors).- Proven success delivering on tight schedules and high-complexity programs, ideally involving both brownfield and greenfield development.- Strong understanding of facility planning, site infrastructure, and equipment integration.- Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and resource planning.- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.- Proficiency with MS Project, ERP systems, and project performance tracking tools.- PMP certification, very helpful.The Ideal CandidateYou’re a strategic builder and disciplined executor equally comfortable managing in office construction activities and engaging with senior executives or government clients.
