Sales & Marketing Coordinator

Part time Contract | Student or Early Career

Plumbing Track is looking for someone to help us find new business and improve how we market the company.

We specialize in re-piping multifamily buildings using a system designed to reduce disruption, avoid unnecessary demolition, and make future plumbing maintenance easier.

This position combines sales, business development, social media, research, and marketing. We are looking for someone who is comfortable talking to people, doing their own research, and finding opportunities rather than simply waiting for tasks to be assigned.

You should be able to look at a potential customer, understand why Plumbing Track might be relevant to them, find the right person to contact, and start a conversation.

What you would be doing

- Research potential customers in Alberta and British Columbia, including housing providers, property managers, strata organizations, developers, and multifamily building owners
- Identify decision-makers and build organized prospect lists
- Contact potential customers by phone, email, LinkedIn, and other appropriate channels
- Follow up with prospects and help arrange meetings
- Keep track of leads, conversations, opportunities, and follow-ups
- Research buildings and markets where Poly B, Kitec, aging plumbing systems, and multifamily re-piping are common concerns
- Help develop sales materials, brochures, project summaries, case studies, and other material we can use when speaking with potential customers
- Help manage and develop Plumbing Track's social media presence
- Create ideas for posts,



project updates, educational content, completed work, and other social media material
- Help organize completed project photos, videos, testimonials, and references
- Support SEO through keyword research, competitor research, and content ideas
- Help improve website content and service descriptions
- Research competitors and how other companies are presenting their services
- Look for new sales opportunities and suggest practical ways we can pursue them

Who we are looking for

We are open to students, recent graduates, and early-career applicants.

You do not need years of experience, but you do need to be comfortable taking initiative and figuring things out.

A strong candidate will be:

- A good writer and communicator
- Comfortable speaking with business owners, managers, and other professionals
- Comfortable making sales calls and contacting new people
- Good at online research
- Organized and reliable with follow-ups
- Interested in sales, marketing, business development, or entrepreneurship
- Able to understand a technical service and explain it clearly
- Comfortable working independently
- Familiar with social media and how businesses use it




- Curious about how companies find customers and win projects

Previous sales experience is preferred.

Experience with SEO, social media, Canva, CRM software, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, or digital marketing is helpful, but not required.

We are more interested in finding someone who communicates well, is willing to learn, and is comfortable going out and finding opportunities.

Compensation

$24 to $35 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated ability.

We offer excellent commission packages that can turn a part-time position into a full-time career.

This is a part-time contract position with the opportunity to take on more responsibility as Plumbing Track grows.

Plumbing Track provides a different approach to re-piping occupied multifamily buildings.

Our system allows new water lines to remain accessible rather than being buried behind finished walls and ceilings. This can reduce demolition, restoration work, tenant disruption, and future maintenance problems.

We work with multifamily properties and are continuing to expand our work across Western Canada.

Location

Remote with occasional meetups, if required. Must be located in either Calgary or Kelowna.
